NEFEST Theme Song

TextA Q & A session with New England Music Festival Sponsor - Joe Patrina, moderated by William Landers of Ameriborn.com

So you’re putting on a festival …
That’s right.  It’s called The 2010 New England Music Festival. It’s taking place in four New England locations starting in July at my hometown of Simsbury Connecticut, and running until the elections this autumn. The Simsbury show is at the Performing Arts Center at Simsbury Meadows.

Great.  What can people expect to see?
It’s an entertainment event not seen since Bob Hope’s USO shows: the show features lots of professional bands doing short sets and notable speakers who will engage the audience in between.

Sounds like fun.
Actually, it was designed to be both fun and motivating.  I want this Sunday in July to be a suburban haven for traditional American families looking for an afternoon of hope, music and ideas.

What kind of performers are involved?
Well, to start, the very very best regional recording artists. Plus national level opinion leaders, talk radio celebrities, and key Connecticut political luminaries, as well.

It should be a good time. What made you want to do this?
Many people tell me they are tired of sitting on the sidelines watching others fight for a return to American fundamentals. Folks want to get involved.  They know that this November’s election is critical for our country’s history. So with time quickly slipping by, I said to myself, “Let’s create a forum – a series of forums for that matter,” to get everyone together.  It’s a grass roots approach that’s not politically affiliated.  I believe that the power of un-splintered numbers will drive things in the direction America really wants to go..

And the first show is in Simsbury on Sunday, July 18th?
Yes.  I am scheduling festival events for Sunday afternoons.  This means if you attend we will see you after worship, and conclude in time to get you home to get ready for Monday.

Thank you, sir. I hope everyone gets out to this patriotic event.
